Electrical Engineer

Corridian•Boston, MA

About The Position

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who loves building and wants to put real hardware in the ocean. If you get excited about designing rugged subsea electronics, building prototypes, supporting sea trials, and solving new problems, this is for you.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in electrical engineering roles, including prototype build and prototype to production transitions
  • Prior experience in building electrical systems
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium preferred) and board bring-up
  • Experience with energy and power electronics, low-noise sensor interfaces, and embedded systems
  • Comfortable working with a small team and wearing many hats
  • Strong problem-solving drive: when something breaks, you dive in and fix it
  • U.S. citizen; eligible for DoD security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with underwater robotics; UUVs, AUVs, ROVs, subsea sensors, or marine systems
  • Knowledge of ocean engineering challenges
  • Hands-on experience with battery systems, energy management, or high-voltage design
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, and iterate on electrical systems (PCBs, power distribution, motor drivers, embedded hardware) that can thrive and perform in subsea environments
  • Collaborate tightly with a small, cross-functional team (mechanical, software, and systems engineers)
  • Take concepts from schematic to board, prototype, testing, and at-sea deployment
  • Own your work end-to-end: design, test, deploy, debug, repeat
  • Push the limits of what’s possible in subsea electrical engineering
