About The Position

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and integrating electrical power systems and electrical wiring & interconnection systems (EWIS). This includes high-power distribution, motor drives, hydraulics, energy storage, and production-ready harness architectures. The role involves developing and releasing system schematics, block diagrams, interconnects, and wire diagrams, supporting the full lifecycle from concept to sustainment. The engineer will lead harness design, component selection, and integration, considering harsh marine environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for optimizing SWaP, reliability, EMI/EMC, and environmental robustness. The position also requires supporting design reviews, builds, supplier engagement, and test/qualification activities, operating effectively in a fast-paced, multi-program environment.

Requirements

• Engineering Bachelor’s degree (EE,ME,CE)
• 1-3 years experience in a hands on electrical engineering role
• Exposure to mechatronics and electromechanical systems

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate electrical power systems and electrical wiring & interconnection systems (EWIS), including high-power distribution, motor drives, hydraulics, energy storage, and production-ready harness architectures
• Develop and release system schematics, block diagrams, interconnects, and wire diagrams, supporting full lifecycle from concept, production, and sustainment.
• Lead harness design, component selection, and integration, including connectors, backshells, shielding, grounding, and sealing for harsh marine environments
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and compliance teams to optimize SWaP, reliability, EMI/EMC, and environmental robustness
• Support design reviews, first article builds, supplier engagement, and test/qualification activities, ensuring performance and compliance with applicable standards
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-program environment, supporting new development, production, and fielded hardware
