Electrical Engineer

About The Position

This position is responsible for the design, development, testing and support of electrical systems across company products. This equipment includes but is not limited to: Boilers and Boiler Accessories. This position interfaces directly with other engineering personnel, shop staff, non-engineering department personnel and management

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning production software and systems
Able to read and interpret technical documents, such as technical drawings, schematics, safety rules, and quality procedures
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Program, configure and troubleshoot PLC logic and HMI screens.
Design electrical systems,
Create wiring diagrams and develop schematics.
Integrate sensors, actuators, drives and industrial protocols.
Work to meet industry codes and standards.
Debug control logic and electrical hardware
Order processing
Provide technical support to internal customers such as Plant Supervisors, third party installers, Customer Service and our Sales team
Travel to job sites as required to provide onsite technical support to customers or installers.
