NSK Corporation is looking for an Electrical Engineer to design, build and troubleshoot control systems for automated manufacturing equipment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) or work equivalent, field of study: Engineering.

  • Maintain and improve building auxiliary systems: Electrical distribution, air compressors, HVAC controls, bulk fluid handling and lighting.
  • Collaborate and support multiple locations as needed for engineering projects, policy review, conferences and training.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and troubleshoot control systems for automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Design, install and troubleshoot PLC programs.
  • Create and modify electrical schematics using CAD software.
  • Maintain and improve site power distribution equipment.
  • Perform root cause analysis of quality and machine problems using statistical methods and implement solutions.
  • Research, develop and implement preventive engineering solutions to improve output, quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Write and revise standard operating procedures.
  • Collect data, prepare and present reports to communicate project status and key process indicators.
  • Test, evaluate, and recommend components to ensure the best function, safety, reliability and cost effectiveness.
  • Mentor, educate and train co-workers within your area of expertise.
  • Plan and manage capital budget projects, including scheduling and cost control.
  • Manage utility usage.
  • Analyze usage and implement reduction projects.
  • Understand and follow all safety procedures.
  • Understand and monitor company financial results and manage expense budgets
