About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company in Portage, MI. This is a 12+ month contract role focused on robotics electrical development. The engineer will plan and implement the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of various electrical systems and apparatus, applying professional expertise and judgment with minimal supervision.

Requirements

A university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience
Understanding and application of procedures and concepts within the electrical engineering discipline
Ability to make judgments based on practice and previous experience
Expected to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Experience with Robotics Electrical Diagnosis/Repair
Knowledge of Electrical Standards
Electrical Testing
Electrical Troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Plan and implement the design, manufacture, installation, and/or maintenance of electrical systems and apparatus
Work with components such as electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, wiring, and power systems/devices
Focus on systems for the generation, transmission, and control of electric power
