About The Position

Accelevation LLC is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Senior Electrical Product Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve electrical components and systems for products including UL891 switchboards, PDUs, RPPs, and transfer switches. The role calls for expertise in single-line diagrams, three-phase schematic design, power distribution, and NEC, along with an understanding of manufacturing processes and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The engineer will work closely with mechanical engineering, software, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams throughout product development. This is an onsite position in Miamisburg, Ohio, in a collaborative, high-energy workplace. The role supports product development from concept through production, including testing, compliance, troubleshooting, and product launches.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in electrical product design and development.
At least 8 years of experience in electrical power distribution design.
Proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
Experience with embedded systems, analog and digital circuit design, and power systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems and components for new and existing products, primarily UL891 switchboards, PDUs, and RPPs.
Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
Select appropriate components and materials for electrical designs.
Test and validate electrical systems for safety, compliance, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot design and production issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements, including UL, CE, and RoHS.
Support product launches with documentation, technical support, and design refinements.
