About The Position

Duotech Services, LLC (DSL) is seeking an experienced, motivated Electrical Engineer to work in Huntsville, Alabama, or Franklin, North Carolina. This mid-career position supports mission-critical technology for U.S. military platforms and focuses on embedded systems, avionics, RF, and radar. The engineer will design and develop military-grade electronics and embedded systems, modernize legacy systems while preserving strict form, fit, and function requirements, and support engineering activities from prototype development through verification and validation. The position is on-site, with no travel.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to attain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and developing embedded computing systems for military applications.

Nice To Haves

• Strong background in avionics, RF systems, or radar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop military-grade electronic hardware, including circuit cards, embedded computing systems, automated test equipment (ATE), and radar system components.
• Reverse engineer legacy embedded computing systems and produce modernized design packages that maintain strict form, fit, and function requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive performance, reliability, and compliance across solutions.
• Support prototype builds, system integration, test, verification, and validation activities.
• Create detailed engineering documentation, schematics, and technical reports.
• Contribute to a positive, innovative engineering culture focused on high-quality results and continuous improvement.
