About The Position
Motorola Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to research, design, and develop system-level mixed-mode models for functional subsystems within custom ASICs. The role involves running simulations, interpreting results to identify and correct flaws, and managing the full circuit design tape-out and fabrication cycle. This includes comprehensive post-silicon validation and characterization using advanced RF test and measurement equipment.
Requirements
- Masters degree + 3 years experience or Bachelors degree with + 5 years experience.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop system level mixed mode models for functional subsystems within custom ASICS.
- Run simulations using the models and interpreting the results to identify flaws or errors in the system implementation and identify corrective actions.
- Manage the full circuit design tape-out and fabrication cycle.
- Conduct comprehensive post-silicon validation and characterization utilizing advanced RF test and measurement equipment (e.g., signal analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes).
