About The Position
The client is located in the Bow, NH area and has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer. This role involves working as an Electrical Engineer for a client in the equipment manufacturing company. The position will be responsible for the electrical design of custom equipment from schematic through machine commissioning. This is a contract to possible hire role that is a long-term need for the client. This role must be worked on-site.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (with an electrical focus)
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering role
Nice To Haves
- Solidworks Electrical experience preferred
- Experience with capital equipment is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics, panel layouts and system architecture for automation equipment
- Own regulatory compliance for machine electrical design - CE, UKCA and NFPA 79
- Understanding of circuits and oversee testing
- Work with mechanical and software engineers on control system design using motion controllers, servo drives and custom automation components
- Design basic PCBs
