About The Position

Olsson is hiring an Electrical Engineer to join its Industrial Facility Engineering and Design Team. The team delivers engineering analysis, design services, and professional consulting for industrial projects. The role serves as a project designer, preparing planning and design documents and processing design calculations as part of the Electrical team. The engineer coordinates with other Olsson teams, professional and technical staff, and clients. The position may involve traveling to job sites for observation and attending client meetings. Electrical design services may include power distribution, lighting, and electrical modeling.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the consulting industry.
• Registered professional engineer (PE).

Nice To Haves

• Water and/or semiconductor experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designer on projects.
• Prepare planning and design documents.
• Process design calculations as part of the Electrical team.
• Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients.
• Travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings as needed.
• Contribute to electrical design services that may include power distribution, lighting, and electrical modeling.
