About The Position

Arcadis is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer (Power) with 0-3 years of experience to join their Water Business Area team. This role is focused on municipal and industrial water/wastewater projects, involving the design, analysis, and layout of various electrical systems. The position offers the opportunity to work with a leading consultancy firm and a strong technical staff on diverse projects. May 2027 graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology, or a closely related field of study.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Working to obtain or obtained Professional Engineer License.
  • Experience in W/WW Electrical Engineering design.
  • Experience with electrical engineering and design activities (e.g., power and standby power systems, lighting and motor control systems design).
  • Knowledge of Instrumentation, PLC controls and SCADA network architecture.
  • Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.

Responsibilities

  • Define design criteria, perform detailed calculations, and develop key deliverables such as one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for the design and execution of electrical systems.
  • Prepare construction cost estimates, conduct code compliance reviews, perform field investigations, and draft technical reports and memorandums.
  • Provide engineering support during the construction phase, including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings, and responding to contractor RFIs.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless coordination with engineers from various disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage responsibilities effectively and maintain a high standard of performance to deliver successful project outcomes.
