About The Position

AECOM seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems analysis for grid-interconnected and islanded power generation projects. The engineer will lead and execute analytical studies that assess power-system performance and reliability, and perform electrical engineering design work across projects of varying sizes. The role includes responsibility for developing deliverables and coordinating the electrical design team. Work may be performed remotely and/or from one of AECOM’s Energy offices across the United States. Occasional travel to client or project sites is required, as is in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office. AECOM’s Energy practice provides consulting, engineering design, energy engineering, energy procurement, and EPC services for power, energy efficiency, and renewable-energy clients. Its work spans generation, distribution, storage, and demand-side infrastructure, including traditional steam and thermal generation and advanced nuclear technologies. The position supports projects involving renewables, battery energy storage, combined heat and power, conventional generation, microgrids, and other power-generation systems. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and contractors. AECOM offers comprehensive benefits, which may vary depending on employment status, as well as flexible work options and training and development programs. U.S. employment authorization sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.
