About The Position

AECOM seeks an Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems analysis for grid-interconnected and islanded power generation projects. The role leads and executes analytical studies assessing power-system performance and reliability, and performs electrical engineering design work across projects of varying size. The engineer develops deliverables, coordinates electrical design, and integrates study results into project design packages in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role includes analyzing traditional steam and thermal generation, advanced nuclear technologies, renewables, battery energy storage, combined heat and power, and conventional generation. AECOM offers remote work flexibility and/or work from Energy offices in multiple U.S. locations, with the position listed as hybrid. Home-office and field support may be provided during construction, start-up, and commissioning, with occasional travel to client or project sites. AECOM’s Energy practice provides consulting, engineering design, energy engineering, procurement, and construction services for power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy clients. The practice works across generation, distribution, storage, and demand-side infrastructure to advance cleaner, secure, and sustainable energy solutions. U.S. employment authorization sponsorship and relocation are not available. Newly hired employees must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
