Our Avionics Test Engineering team in Burnsville Minnesota is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Engineer Intern to partner with us for May through August 2027 and gain experience in the Aerospace industry. In this role, you will be exposed to a wide variety of test solutions at various stages of their life cycle. A successful candidate will be a fast learner with the ability to respond to requests efficiently. Day-to-day activities include designing and developing test hardware such as cables, power distribution boxes, circuit card assemblies, switch matrices, troubleshooting test solutions, and updating documentation. This role is onsite, in Burnsville, MN.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an applicable Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) disciple and actively enrolled through completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Basic understanding of Electronics and Electrical Design.
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities
- Assist in researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and systems.
- Resolve day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical devices problems on the production line.
- Gain knowledge about designing electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Assist in analyzing and evaluating new or improved electronic components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical devices problems and day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption to production.
