About The Position

Introba is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer intern for its St. Louis office for Summer 2027. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting building engineering design projects in a collaborative environment, developing knowledge and skills through meaningful project work. The role supports engineering deliverables under the close supervision of senior engineers and applies relevant codes and standards.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at an accredited university program.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and engineering software.
Experience with computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team.
Demonstrated integrity and ethical, fair, and responsible behavior.
Commitment to innovation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
Perform quantity take-offs.
Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
Assist with computer modeling.
Assist with producing progress reports.
Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff.
Assist in producing engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under the close supervision of senior engineers.
Apply proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverables.
