About The Position
An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Greater Anchorage, AK area for an individual with 7-10 years’ experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a primary background in Transmission Lines. Responsibilities include: engineering analysis, route selection, structure spotting, power line design calculations, business development and client interactions. This position would earn a generous base salary and great benefits package including full medical benefits, 401K plan, generous PTO and other outstanding perks.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Electrical Design Engineer experience with Transmission Lines
- Familiarity with Power Line Systems software suite i.e., PLS-CADD , PLS-POLE, TOWER, etc., is REQUIRED
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil or Electrical Engineering is REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of NESC code or ANSI standards is HIGHLY PREFERRED
- P.E. Licensure is HIGHLY PREFERRED – (EIT is OK, only with P.E. eligibility)
- Candidates with a Utility or Consulting background are highly encouraged to apply.
