About The Position

A growing industrial equipment manufacturer and systems integrator is seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls Technician to support the build, wiring, installation, troubleshooting, and startup of custom industrial equipment and fluid handling systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of electrical assembly, controls work, PLC troubleshooting, and custom automation projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Strong industrial electrical and controls experience
Experience with PLCs, industrial automation, and troubleshooting electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Knowledge of three-phase industrial electrical equipment
Electrical, controls, or automation technical degree/certification preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in an active shop environment
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or on a team

Responsibilities

Build, wire, install, and troubleshoot industrial electrical and control systems
Assemble and wire control panels, conduit, switchgear, and related electrical components
Program, install, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Support equipment startup, testing, and commissioning activities
Troubleshoot electrical and controls-related issues on custom equipment and systems
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA and NEC standards
Work independently or collaboratively with engineering and production teams
