About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Control Panel and Mechanical Builder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will Lead the fabrication, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels, switchgear, and enclosures, and customer specifications while mentoring junior builders and maintaining production schedules. They will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, and assembling large, complex control panels and doors. This involves installing components and wiring control panels based on a schematic diagram.

Requirements

• Experience with reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts (AutoCAD/EPLAN drawings)
• Experience with assembling and wiring control panels
• Experience working with blueprints, schematics, and a bill of materials
• Electrical theory and measurement skills
• Light metal fabrication techniques
• Ability to read complex electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams
• Experience with hand tools, crimping/termination tools, and wire labeling systems
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control components
• Basic understanding of PLC/HMI wiring
• Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
• Good communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• Programming knowledge of PLCs/HMIs

Responsibilities

• Lead the fabrication, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels, switchgear, and enclosures, and customer specifications
• Mentoring junior builders
• Maintaining production schedules

• Manage panel shop workflow to meet production deadlines
• Maintain accurate build documentation, redlines, and as-built drawings
