About The Position

This role provides daily process support to the Operations Team and HPOT teams, offering technical assistance for troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues. The position also focuses on the continuous improvement of converting processes and equipment, including plant electrical distribution systems, equipment or process control systems, electrical circuits, motors, and drives. The role involves facilitating the procurement and/or development of necessary equipment and process documentation, troubleshooting equipment problems to determine causes and implement repairs, and potentially modifying programs. Flexibility in work schedule is required to support equipment downtime or provide backup shift coverage as needed. The position emphasizes working safely and in accordance with facility guidelines, demonstrating commitment to Rockline's RRITE Values, and contributing to a cooperative working environment. Associates are expected to take initiative in gaining and maintaining the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.

Requirements

• Minimum of an AS Electronics Technology, a 2 year electronics training program and 1 year experience with automation and controls equipment including but not limited to AB Control Logix and at least one other controls platform or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must understand the basics of PLC ladder logic, HMI and Vision system programming.
• Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching, as well as occasional sitting.
• Ability to work on ladders and at heights required for the installation of equipment.
• Requires ability to read write, calculate, interact socially, and reason.
• Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of robotic programming, 24VDC systems and the ability to make minor modifications to control systems (timers, counters, constants, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and in accordance with facility safety guidelines and procedures.
• Provide daily process support to the Operations Team and HPOT teams.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting equipment and process related issues as well as continuous improvement of converting processes and equipment.
• Facilitate the procurement and or development of equipment and process documentation necessary to support the manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine causes in order to implement necessary repair up to and including program modification.
