About The Position

B.H. Inc. is searching for a full-time Construction Manager to join their team in Vernal, Utah. The company is looking for exceptional leaders with a background in electrical construction and a passion for excellence to help drive customer satisfaction and company profit. BHI, started in 1998 by Brad Haslem and six others, began as a small electrical company and has grown into a multi-faceted powerhouse offering various construction services including instrumentation and electrical, civil and excavation, facilities and pipeline, construction management, wireless and communications, and engineering. The company is recognized and respected nationwide in the industries they serve, and they view each other as family, believing their core responsibility is to develop people and provide for families. As a Construction Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of electrical projects. Your daily life involves project scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management to ensure all deadlines are met. You will serve as a key leader, using your expertise to manage crews, coordinate onsite activities, and ensure all work aligns with BHI quality and safety policies. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage both field teams and client expectations effectively.

Requirements

  • Significant field experience (5+ years) as an electrician, journeyman, or foreman
  • Must possess an OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification
  • Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Deep understanding of local building codes
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints
  • Proficiency in cost estimation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • State-level licensure as a journeyman or master electrician
  • CCM certification
  • PMP certifications
