About The Position

Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to support planning and execution of major electrical scopes on a complex advanced manufacturing construction program. This position will provide construction management leadership across electrical contractors, self-perform teams, engineering stakeholders, commissioning personnel, and client project leadership. The Electrical Construction Manager will be responsible for driving safe execution, schedule performance, quality, coordination, and successful system turnover.

Requirements

  • Construction management experience with significant electrical scope responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial or industrial electrical construction.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, specifications, and construction schedules.
  • Experience managing electrical subcontractors or self-perform construction teams.
  • Understanding of cost, schedule, productivity, quality, and safety management.
  • Strong field coordination and issue-resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with commissioning, energization, and turnover processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician experience combined with construction management leadership.
  • Semiconductor, data center, battery, automotive, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with large EPC or owner-led capital programs.
  • OSHA 30 or comparable safety training.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or comparable project systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical construction scopes from mobilization through turnover.
  • Coordinate contractors, superintendents, engineering teams, procurement, and commissioning.
  • Monitor schedule, productivity, cost, safety, and quality performance.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and work packages.
  • Lead coordination of electrical installation with mechanical, structural, controls, and architectural scopes.
  • Resolve field conflicts and escalate technical issues when required.
  • Manage progress reporting and construction planning.
  • Support change management and scope clarification.
  • Verify construction readiness and material availability.
  • Participate in inspections, testing, energization planning, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Maintain alignment between project execution and client requirements.
