About The Position

Decima International is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead technical commissioning of electrical systems on data center projects, from design review through Integrated Systems Testing. This independent, owner-engaged role develops test procedures, directs field teams, evaluates results against design intent, and reports findings to the owner. The successful candidate will bring data center commissioning expertise and the ability to lead electrical testing, resolve technical issues, mentor technicians, and communicate objectively with owners, designers, contractors, and operators. The role is based at project sites across the United States and involves 50–75% travel, including extended assignments of three weeks or more. Travel, lodging, and per diem are provided according to company policy. Site rotations are planned before each project and typically consist of two to three weeks on site and one week off site, subject to project requirements and delays. Work takes place in active construction and data center environments, including areas at heights, mechanical and electrical rooms, and hot or noisy areas.
