About The Position

Productive Resources is seeking an Electrical CAD Designer to join their engineering team at a customer's facility in various locations in Texas and Louisiana. The selected candidate will be responsible for 3D modeling and routing of electrical harnesses, creating schematics, and electrical harness drawings. This role involves interfacing with other engineering groups to ensure design compatibility. It is a full-time, indefinite position with opportunities for professional growth within the organization.

Requirements

• Understanding of electrical controllers, harnesses, components, etc. used in the marine and off-highway industry.
• Knowledge of different companies’ Design Engineering Standards.
• Experience with NX and Teamcenter.
• Ability to work with different companies’ part release and BOM procedure.
• Ability to work on site for 2 weeks at a time and from home the remainder of the time.
• Must provide proof of identity and legal authority to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, including background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• On-time delivery of 3D electrical routing designs.
• Complete 2D drawings to different customer standards and best practices.
• Create and edit electrical schematics.
• Support prototype vehicle builds, as necessary.
• Travel to customer sites.
