About The Position

The Electrical/Wiring Technician builds back panels for machinery models produced at HOMAG Machinery North America. The role involves interpreting electrical schematics, installing components and wiring cables, checking completed work for quality and completeness, and making adjustments or repairs as needed. The technician also reports quality issues to a supervisor, supports team members, and keeps the workstation clean.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant production experience.
• At least 1 year of experience reading and using blueprints or schematics.
• Basic knowledge of electrical principles.
• Experience building back panels.
• Experience wiring back panels.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-starter and reliable.
• Team player.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and understand European schematics.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical schematics to install components and wiring cables for machine production.
• Examine completed work for completeness and quality, making adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Inform the supervisor of quality issues.
• Support team members as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the cycle workstation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
