About The Position

The Electrical Assembly Technician assembles, disassembles, and repairs products, including electrical harness assemblies. The role requires basic product knowledge, an understanding of production procedures, and the ability to use common hand and power tools. The technician assists production Associates with proper assembly, testing, quality control, and other procedures, while following detailed instructions and communicating effectively in writing and verbally.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize to meet customer expectations.
Detail oriented, with a focus on providing the highest level of quality.

Nice To Haves

One year of relevant work experience is preferred.
An associate degree in Mechatronics, Fluid Power, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble fundamental components according to work instructions using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Assemble entry-level products to established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications.
Communicate with appropriate parties about expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, and related matters.
Participate in implementing process improvements.
Help maintain and suggest safety practices and procedures.
Maintain an orderly work environment.
Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in the ERP operating system.
Participate as a team member to achieve goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
