About The Position

Our customer has an Electrical Assembler job. Hours: M-F 7:00 - 3:30. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, performing control panel assembly and wiring, installing electronic components, identifying and reworking product defects, and ensuring work is done according to quality and safety standards. The position requires minimal supervision and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years of electrical assembly experience
• 4+ years of experience with electro-mechanical hardware assembly and testing
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic computer navigation

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures
• Perform control panel assembly and point-to-point wiring using measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools
• Install a variety of electronic components
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation
• Rework/repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
• Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
• Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe fashion
