About The Position

This role involves performing specific tasks such as soldering, hardware installation, and post-coating under close supervision. The assembler will inspect their own work to ensure it meets quality standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications. The position requires meeting productivity expectations to adhere to customer deadlines and complying with all company regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance. The role also includes participation in cost reduction and continuous improvement plans, audits, acquiring necessary skills and certifications, and maintaining a clean work area. Reporting work progress to leads or supervisors and completing assigned tasks within the scope of the job description are also key aspects. A soldering assessment must be passed after training.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
  • Must be able to pass a soldering assessment after training course provided.

  • Career Readiness Certification (CRC) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates.
  • Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
  • Pass a soldering assessment after training course provided.
