About The Position

Electrical Assemblers assemble electronics according to product specifications. They follow blueprints to put together electronic devices, tools, and products using hand & power tools and other assembly equipment. This role involves performing specific tasks such as soldering, hardware installation, and post coating after proper training and certification. The assembler will inspect their own work to ensure quality and conformity to standards, meet productivity expectations, and comply with all company rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, and Quality. Participation in cost reduction, continuous improvement, and audits is also expected. The role requires acquiring applicable skills, knowledge, and certifications, maintaining a clean work area, and reporting work progress to leads or supervisors. Additional duties as assigned will be completed within the scope and skill level of the job description to support department objectives and develop individual skills. A soldering assessment must be passed after a provided training course.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

  • Ability to successfully complete training modules associated with job grade.

Responsibilities

  • Perform specific tasks including but not limited to, soldering, hardware installation, post coating.
  • Inspect own work performed to ensure a quality product which conforms to workmanship standards, engineering requirements and design specifications.
  • Perform in accordance with productivity expectations to meet customer deadlines.
  • Comply with all rules and regulations of Raytheon Technologies, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance requirements.
  • Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required.
  • Participate in audits.
  • Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications and complete trainings as required.
  • Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates.
  • Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
  • Pass a soldering assessment after training course provided.
  • Other duties as assigned.
