Perform duties to pre-assemble HVAC unit electrical panels and wire panels in compliance with prescribed diagrams and instructions, making minor decisions as required. Requirements

• Safety Glasses – ANSI Z87.1
• Gloves – ANSI Cut 3 4544
• Foot Protection, Steel Toe – ASTM F2413-11

Responsibilities

• Work from work schedule, bill of materials (BOM), panel layout, wiring diagram, text sheet, and work instruction.
• Validate and inspect sheet metal and purchased parts to ensure compliance with BOM. Notify supervisor of any discrepancies.
• Apply purchased panel to sheet metal backing and install in accordance to instruction.
• Attach specified components.
• Verify wire gauge and type requirements and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Pull wires as required, wire panel in accordance to provided diagram, panel layout, and electrical schematics.
• Route and bundle wires and cables in compliance with established electrical standards.
• Rack completed panels and move to designated area for staging or subsequent operations.
• Notify team leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, or documentation.
• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
