About The Position
As a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice, you will take an active role in diagnosing, repairing, and installing residential electrical systems. You will work alongside experienced electricians while also handling portions of jobs independently, continuing to build the skills and confidence needed to step into a Journeyman role. This position is ideal for someone with hands on experience who is ready for more responsibility and consistent field exposure in a fast paced residential service environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands on electrical experience (3rd or 4th year apprentice preferred)
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and safety practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete work with limited supervision
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work at heights and in various environments including confined spaces
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and desire to grow within the trade
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust with homeowners
- Problem solving mindset with the ability to think through challenges in the field
- Organized and detail oriented while working in a fast paced environment
- High level of accountability and integrity in your work
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential electrical systems including wiring, panels, fixtures, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support diagnostics to identify effective solutions
- Complete electrical tasks with increasing independence such as running wire, mounting equipment, and connecting components
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with electrical codes
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and represent the company professionally in customers’ homes
- Collaborate with team members to complete jobs on time and deliver a strong customer experience
- Continue developing technical skills through hands on experience and ongoing training
