About The Position
SOUTHLAND Transportation has a current opening for a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Mechanic (Automotive or Heavy Duty) to join their team in Cochrane. The company offers personalized training, competitive wages, and flexibility within personal life. The Apprentice Mechanic works an 8-hour day shift, with some overtime as required. This position is not confined to shop activities as the Apprentice may be required to perform field work on down buses in city limits and some rural areas.
Requirements
- 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Mechanic (Automotive or Heavy Duty)
- Clear criminal record
- Own hand tools
Responsibilities
- Ongoing maintenance/repair of buses
- Respond to breakdowns
- Spring and winter maintenance
