Compu Dynamics is looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our growing Install team. This is an exciting entry-level position that offers hands-on training, mentorship, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the electrical industry!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-4 years’ experience in the field or related area
- Enrolled in an apprenticeship program within 1 year
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Data Centers
- Military Codes: 3E051, 3E071, 12R, 270, 1141, 4602
Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for projects
- Assists with all aspects of commercial electrical installation according to plans and specifications
- Prepares work area for installation of equipment
- Sets up and operates tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers and cable vacuum systems
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
- Assists in mounting and strapping conduit
- Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification
- Effectively communicates status of jobs, issues, recommendations, etc. to management
- Provides timely and completed documentation of work performed
- Drives company/personal vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws
- Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment
