About The Position

This role involves assisting a journeyman electrician in various tasks related to electrical systems. The apprentice will be responsible for preparing work areas, handling materials, installing and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations. The position requires the ability to use diagnostic tools and may involve working extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• 1-2 -years of relevant electrical experience
• High school diploma or equivalent desired
• Must successfully complete and pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing

Nice To Haves

• Completion of electrician training program preferred
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s record preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist a journeyman electrician and follow instructions
• Prepare and clean work areas
• Carry and deliver materials
• Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment
• Use measuring equipment and hand tools to perform conduit work
• Follow safety codes and building regulations
• Ability to diagnose problems using electronic testing equipment
• Other job duties as assigned
