About The Position

Heartland Home Service is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a mechanical aptitude for hands-on work. The apprentice will be responsible for producing neat, clean, and thorough work, maintaining high standards, and working efficiently to meet project timelines. Safety is paramount, and all job site and driving safety protocols must be followed. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and meeting productivity and quality standards. The apprentice will assist journeyman and master electricians, learn to interpret blueprints, and gain experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential or commercial settings. Developing troubleshooting skills, ensuring code compliance, and maintaining an organized workspace are also key aspects of this position. Active participation in on-the-job training and classes is expected to build technical skills and industry knowledge. Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman and master electricians with installing, repairing, and maintain electrical systems.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to assist in accurate electrical system installations.
• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting, and control systems in residential or commercial settings.
• Develop troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations in every task performed.
• Maintain and organize tools, materials, and equipment on the job site to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
• Actively participate in on-the-job training and classes to build technical skills and industry knowledge.
• Demonstrate initiative and adaptability, performing additional duties as assigned to support the team.
• Follow all safety protocols on job sites and while driving, always prioritizing safety for yourself and the team.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing their needs, concerns, and expectations professionally.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, taking direction well and support team efforts to complete projects on time.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards set by the company.
