About The Position

The Electrical Apprentice is a working field position that doubles as an assistant and extra set of hands for the branch Foreman and/or Electricians. The Electrical Apprentice provides assistance and technical electrical support to the Foreman and Electricians, and also works as a team with the Lead and Installers to complete mechanical portions of residential solar installation projects. Sunrun is the largest dedicated residential solar and storage company in the country and has a mission to bring stably priced resilient power to the masses. Since 2007, Sunrun has grown into America's #1 home solar and battery company. We got here by putting our people’s safety and growth first. That’s why we created the Power+ program: to invest in your skills. We train you to work across different teams—from qualifying homes for solar, to installing, to inspecting the final work, and servicing existing systems.
