About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice to join our team! You will be responsible for residential home service which includes installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, as well as training apprentices on the job. If you are a Electrical Apprentice with a can-do attitude who takes pride in his work, we want to hear from you. Serving Minneapolis and St. Paul, Plugz Electric is based in Forest Lake, MN where we founded our unique electrical services company a few years ago. We’re growing to serve more customers, ensuring that each project we take on with our expert electricians is performed to exacting standards. Mid-size, family owned local shop based in Forest Lake, MN while serving the Metro & Surrounding areas. With our Master Electrician onsite and owner, minimal corporate expectations unlike the larger companies. We like to keep it fast, fun, family orientated environment with free-onsite home service and code training offered weekly.

Requirements

Apprentice Electrician
Previous experience as an Electrician is preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
Professional appearance and courteous personality

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and regulations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine electrical requirements and materials needed
Install new electrical systems and repair existing systems
Provide bids for work orders
Interact with customers, suppliers, and other professionals
Training apprentices on the job
