About The Position

This role involves assisting electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. The apprentice will support tasks such as conduit bending, wire pulling, and device installation. A key part of the role is learning to read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical drawings, as well as maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site. The apprentice will be expected to follow all safety procedures and company standards, and attend apprenticeship classes one night per week. The program focuses on learning and applying electrical codes and best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship program
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to work at heights and on ladders
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions

  • Strong interest in the electrical trade and willingness to learn
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, construction sites)

  • Previous construction or trade experience is a plus, but not required
