About The Position

Accent Electrical Services, a commercial electrical contractor founded in 2003 and located in Broomfield, Colorado, is seeking experienced, enthusiastic, full-time electrical apprentices to join their team. The work involves the installation, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the electrical construction industry, under the direct supervision of a licensed Journeyman. This role is a summary of the full job description.

Requirements

Must have prior experience in the electrical trade.
Must have Affidavits of Experience to verify hours.
Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, lift, and reach overhead.

Responsibilities

Reads blueprints and demonstrates experience.
Helps plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, avoid unsightly, hazardous, unreliable wiring, and be consistent with specifications, safety codes, and local electrical codes with Journeyman's input.
Performs installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on project specifications and local codes with Journeyman’s input.
Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, electrical feeders, power systems, and/or switch gear.
Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
Able to identify electrical parts and components.
Works from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
