About The Position

The Electrical Apprentice assists with residential electrical maintenance, service work, installations, and upgrades. The role involves responding to work orders, following a daily travel schedule, listening to customer concerns, completing assigned work, and proactively resolving problems. The apprentice troubleshoots residential electrical issues, maintains truck inventory, services wiring, control, and lighting systems, and follows local and state codes. Strong customer service and communication are important when working with customers.

Requirements

At least 1 year of residential electrical work experience.
Ability to follow instructions and retain training.
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to learn and advance knowledge of the trade.
Knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
High school diploma or GED.
Clean driving record.
Basic computer skills and ability to use an iPad to document work.
Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
At least 21 years of age.
Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.
