Miller Industries is a family-operated business that designs, engineers, and manufactures custom products in Fenton and Burton, Michigan, with additional engineering support in El Paso, Texas. The divisions include Miller Fabricated Systems, Flex Air, Miller Industries Representatives, and MI Service Group, offering custom steel fabrication, custom commercial and industrial HVAC systems, and modular mechanical and electrical systems. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED and 4000+ registered Electrical Apprentice hours (registered hours will be rolled into the program).
• Experience in manual labor, skilled trades, construction, or manufacturing positions.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring devices.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe work environment.
• Willingness to maintain a professional and clean workspace and assist in shop housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation.
• Installs and bends conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders.
• Performs wire and cable pulls.
• Learn how to use the NEC codebook.
• Assists with material handling duties on the jobsite.
• Using various hand tools, site tools and safety equipment as needed on the job site.
