Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Must pass aptitude test.

Responsibilities

Learn to install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
Learn to connect power supply wires to machines and equipment and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.
Will learn to diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
Learn to test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance and tool room.
Learn to replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.
Learn to diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
Learn to replace electric motor bearings and how to rewire motors.
Learn how to install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
Will learn how to diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).
Punctual and regular attendance is required.
Able and willing to work any shift assigned.
Able to travel up to 50%
Keeps work area clean and orderly.
