The Elections Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of administrative, financial, and election operations for Lubbock County. This role involves designing, planning, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing election programs and projects. The coordinator will assist with poll workers, prepare agreements and contracts, handle post-election billing, and proof ballot formats. They will also manage mail ballots, voter records, and polling place logistics, including site selection, ADA compliance, and database maintenance. Additionally, the position involves managing poll worker compensation, creating election database files, coordinating documentation and notices, and handling financial disclosure reports. The role includes supervising material preparation, arranging publications, cross-training with office staff, maintaining office accounting records, and staffing voting facilities. The Elections Coordinator will communicate with staff and the public, perform administrative functions, assist with general office duties, and attend required meetings and training. This position does not have direct supervisory authority.
