The Election Protection Organizer supports nonpartisan efforts to safeguard voting rights, promote equitable access to the ballot, and provide Arizona communities with accurate election information. The position focuses on community outreach, base building, leadership development, volunteer coordination, election-protection education, coalition engagement, poll-monitoring support, and election-related rapid response. Working primarily in Maricopa County and other assigned areas of Arizona, the Organizer recruits and trains community leaders and volunteers, facilitates election-protection workshops, supports polling-place monitoring programs, and represents the organization in approved election-protection coalitions. The Organizer must remain nonpartisan when conducting voter education, voter assistance, poll monitoring, or election-protection activities. The employee may provide only approved general information and must refer legal questions or reports of potential election violations to authorized election-protection counsel, coalition partners, or organizational leadership. This is a temporary, full-time position anticipated to run from August 3, 2026, through December 3, 2026, with travel throughout Arizona up to approximately 50% of the time.
