About The Position

Anticipated EL Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at JWES. This is a 10-month position. The role requires thorough knowledge of the subject matter, elementary/secondary/special education principles, effective teaching methodologies, and school division policies. The teacher must be able to maintain student behavior standards, deliver clear oral and written presentations, and foster positive working relationships with staff, students, administration, and parents.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or university.
• Possess or be eligible to acquire appropriate license(s) and/or endorsement(s) for position as required by the Virginia Department of Education and School Board.
