The EHS Safety Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, practices, guidelines, and procedures within a full manufacturing assembly plant environment. This role requires strong experience in manufacturing large equipment, CNC, and heavy fabrication. The position operates on the 2nd shift and requires the ability to think on your feet quickly due to limited leadership presence. Experience with machinery, safety lock out tag out (LOTO), and environmental regulations (hazardous/non-hazardous waste) is essential. The role also involves working in a union facility, making union experience a plus. The engineer will be a key team player, liaising with all departments and ensuring compliance with EHS initiatives.
