The EHS Generalist will act as a partner in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) by formulating and administering EH&S plans and procedures including EH&S Program Management. Responsible for multiple EH&S specialties. May perform tasks associated with Health/Safety and Environmental/Compliance. Coordinate with business partners for EH&S concerns regarding facilities and employee practices. May have responsibility for facilities and/or medical at a site. Organize and maintain EH&S policies to achieve and maintain compliance with regulations. Manage relationships across other specialized departments to achieve and maintain compliance with EH&S regulations and RTX requirements. This is a 1st shift, onsite position.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships / coops)
  • Experience in EH&S
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors; Public Health, Global Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering
  • Experience applying environment, health, and safety requirements in operations, engineering labs and/or field test environments.
  • Active Secret level or higher security clearance issued by the US Department of Defense (DoD).
