About The Position
Early Head Start Family Service staff support children and families by helping them access community resources, complete program requirements, and achieve family goals. Their duties include recruiting and enrolling families, maintaining records, conducting home visits, monitoring attendance, and connecting families with services such as healthcare, housing, employment, and counseling. They also encourage parent involvement, collaborate with teachers and community agencies, and ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards while promoting the overall well-being of children and families.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- Experience working with low-income families and young children
