About The Position

TRP Infrastructure Services is seeking a proactive and safety-driven EHS Coordinator to support and enhance environmental, health, and safety programs across our Pavement Marking, Traffic Control, Heavy Highway Construction, and Infrastructure Services operations. The EHS Coordinator serves as a key resource for field leadership by coordinating safety initiatives, conducting audits and investigations, supporting regulatory compliance efforts, and assisting with implementation of company-wide EHS programs. This position is considered a developmental leadership role and serves as the next step beyond Safety Associate, providing increased responsibility in safety program management, employee development, and operational support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of construction safety, EHS, pavement marking, traffic control, heavy highway, or related industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards.
  • Experience conducting inspections and investigations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
  • OSHA 510 Certification.
  • CHST Certification.
  • ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Lead safety observations and behavioral-based safety initiatives.
  • Partner with operations teams to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Coordinate company safety programs and compliance initiatives.
  • Lead investigations involving incidents, near misses, vehicle accidents, and property damage events.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety meetings, and compliance training.
  • Mentor Safety Associates and assist in developing future EHS professionals.
  • Support environmental compliance and fleet safety initiatives.
  • Serve as a primary EHS resource for assigned branches and projects.
