About The Position

TRP Infrastructure Services is seeking a proactive and safety-driven EHS Coordinator to support and enhance environmental, health, and safety programs across our Pavement Marking, Traffic Control, Heavy Highway Construction, and Infrastructure Services operations. The EHS Coordinator serves as a key resource for field leadership by coordinating safety initiatives, conducting audits and investigations, supporting regulatory compliance efforts, and assisting with implementation of company-wide EHS programs. This position is considered a developmental leadership role and serves as the next step beyond Safety Associate, providing increased responsibility in safety program management, employee development, and operational support.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
3–5 years of construction safety, EHS, pavement marking, traffic control, heavy highway, or related industry experience.
Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards.
Experience conducting inspections and investigations.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
OSHA 510 Certification.
CHST Certification.
ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Lead safety observations and behavioral-based safety initiatives.
Partner with operations teams to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Coordinate company safety programs and compliance initiatives.
Lead investigations involving incidents, near misses, vehicle accidents, and property damage events.
Conduct root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans.
Deliver toolbox talks, safety meetings, and compliance training.
Mentor Safety Associates and assist in developing future EHS professionals.
Support environmental compliance and fleet safety initiatives.
Serve as a primary EHS resource for assigned branches and projects.
