About The Position

The EHS Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program for the facility and service operations. This position reports directly to the EHS Manager and serves as the primary leader and administrator for the Service Group, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service operations. The EHS Coordinator provides guidance and support to service technicians and operational teams while advancing company EHS objectives, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in EHS, field service, maintenance, technical service, or operational support
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive accountability across multiple work locations
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess uncompromising integrity and attitude toward EH&S issues
  • Must have the ability to read, understand and interpret regulatory requirements such as the Federal Register and others
  • Ability to handle a constantly changing set of priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related certifications preferred
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement the corporate Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) vision throughout the service group
  • Advance the EH&S Management Systems and ISO 14001 initiatives
  • Ensure service activities are conducted in compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, customer, and company requirements
  • Assist the EHS Manager with audits, inspections, regulatory interactions, and corporate reporting requirements
  • Assist in the development of appropriate goals and milestones for Environmental, Health & Safety
  • Assist with scheduling, training, PPE, cost reductions within the Service department
  • Assist in evaluating PPE and EHS rules that are applicable to specific field service jobs prior to the field service technician going on-site
  • Act as a resource for the Service team for EHS-related questions or concerns
  • Provide guidance for safe travel and guidance on home office ergonomics
  • Provide technical guidance on EH&S issues to supervisors and managers
  • Work with Maintenance and all Manufacturing departments to ensure compliant safety of all equipment and facilities at the physical location(s)
  • Maintain fair, consistent management of the implementation of Company policy(ies)
  • Investigate workplace/field incidents/injuries/illnesses (i.e., near misses, recordables)
  • Create and / or update emergency action plans and the Emergency Manual
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the EHS Manager
  • Understand the Company’s EH&S Policy and how it relates to this job
  • Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as local subsidiarity rules and policies that pertain to this job
  • Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all Company EH&S procedures
  • Immediately notify the Operations Manager / Facility Manager or Service Manager, if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, field situations that are creating an unsafe condition, or if there are any questions regarding EH&S procedures
  • Attend required EH&S training
