EHS Coordinator - Nights (Heavy Civil Construction)
About The Position
Skanska is hiring an entry-level EHS Coordinator to provide safety support and technical assistance to project teams on heavy civil construction projects. The role is typically suited to someone coming from the trades or a new graduate beginning a career in the field. The coordinator may report to a project-based EHS Manager or work independently on a smaller project. The successful candidate will serve as a positive role model for Skanska and subcontractor personnel and help project teams identify and address construction and environmental hazards. Flexibility, adaptability, strong communication, and client-service skills are important.
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management or EHS, or equivalent.
- Broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.
- Strong communication and client-service skills.
- Ability to be a flexible and adaptable team player.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety support and technical assistance to project teams.
- Serve as a role model for Skanska and subcontractor personnel.
- Support project teams in identifying construction and environmental hazards.
